DAY RIDES Thursday Rural Rides Every Thursday Normally starting at the Woodside Swimming Pool Car Park at 10.00am. Except on the first Thursday of every month it will start from various other locations. Contact Trevor for details. The rides comprise some dirt and hills and are 40 to 60kms. There is a stop for coffee but you will need to bring your own lunch. Contact the Thursday Rural Rides Coordinator Trevor on 7127 8154 or 0458 107 990.
The 30-30 Beach Streak Every Thursday Henley Beach Square (near the Jetty). 6:00 PM BIKE SA Ride Distance 30km Speed Fast / Very Fast; Average of 30kph. To Semaphore and Glenelg and back to Henley Square. May break into slower Traditionals and faster Graduates groups if numbers allow. Ph: Michael Dwyer 8294 0709.
25/25 Every Thursday Adelaide Sailing Club, Barcoo Rd, West Beach. 6:00 PM off Military Rd at the "s" bent between the sewerage treatment and West Beach Caravan Park. Meet at the beach side of the sailing club, at the tables on the grass 6:00 PM for a 6:15 PM start 25 km at an average of 25km/hr. Flat riding along the coast, three 8km loops , so choose your distance. At the finish, fun to stay on with the 30/30 riders for drinks at the Sailing Club's bistro $10 schnitzels, $4.50 pints Lexie Cherry ph 8294 0709
The Beach Run Every Wednesday Glenelg "The HMS Buffalo" at 9:30 AM Meet at the HMS Buffalo ( at the bottom of Anzac highway and Adelphi Tce ) Approx 20km return. Speed 15 – 20 km/h with coffee at grange or West Lakes. Phone Lexie: 8294 0709
