Easter at Wirrabara Friday 2nd April – Monday 5th

Easy rides from a central point on the farm at Wirrabara.

Ride in the forest and roads but some might do the taxing go-kart track. The bakery deserves a visit as does the country market. Sitting and chatting is important too as is going for walks in the forest with non-riders.

Accommodation

Camping is about $7 per head per day.  Sleep inside for about $35 per head per day.

Food

Self cater, farm kitchen available and the holiday unit kitchen. Bring nibbles and drinks to share.

Friday night, bring meat and salad for a BBQ.

Then Saturday night, most will go to the Pub.

Sunday night is pasta and cheese night. Bring pasta, sauce,  salad and cheese.

Be prepared to take your lunch on forest rides.  Breakfasts are up to you.  There are fridges available.

Getting there?

Always good to share a car if you can. Please advise Michael of your need or spare seat.

We stay at Taralee Orchards 240 km North of Adelaide. Either travel through Pt Wakefield, Crystal Brook, Gladstone, Laura, Stone Hut.  OR alternately, get there via the more scenic, slower Gawler, Clare, Gladstone, Laura, Stone Hut. About 3.5 hours.  Follow the signs to the Wirrabara Forest office. Turn off carefully 3 km past Stone Hut. Continue along Forest Road to the old Nursery. 300m further along Forest Road brings you to Taralee Orchards. The farm house is on the left up a slope.

Who will ride there??

RSVP

Please let Michael Dwyer m.dwyer6@gmail.com  ph 8294 0709 know.

I need numbers to book the hotel for Saturday night. Also if you need a room at the farm.
